Comment: Yes, I do think they included it in case he loses. Not that they expect him to, but just in case.
There aint a shot in holy hell of this fight being a draw 1 way or the other. If it goes to the cards it goes to JT as he has HBO in his back pocket, but I truly dont think it's going past 10 either way. It will be a slugfest. I just cant wait. Adam, you going too?

Comment: Adam, I appreciate your thoughts about Pavlik needing this more, but that is untrue. Taylor needs it because alot of people (including JT fans) are doubting his credibility. Pavlik doesnt need this fight because if Taylor moved up he would vacate his belt and Pavlik would just fight someone else for it. Pavlik doesnt care who he fights for the belt, he just wants it. On September 29th, he's coming to get it!

Comment: Joe- this is Taylor's last match at 160 lbs regardless of the outcome. Since Pavlik is the one who needs this match more, it only makes sense Taylor's people would include that in case it is a close fight that results in a split decision.
You don't really think they included it because they are expecting JT to lose, do you?!

Comment: ""i lost to a better fighter". Joe you can't honestly say "Miranda" of old showed up to fight that night. You could have beat him that night, the hype, worship, etc, of Pavlik will not last forever and his "past" will show his true colors come Sept. Fact of the matter is Taylor IS the "World Champion" and Pavlik and his cronies should feel fortunate enough to even get this shot given a past track record of fighting nobodies. If anything Pavlik is 1-0 against a Mirandaless Miranda.

Comment: A,
They will ride the back of this great white hype no matter what. If Taylor wins which he should they will say it was a dirty fight, bad judges, he was robbed on the cards, etc. It is a no win situation for JT and his haters that frequent this board. Hopefully (which he should) he dumps this clown as he did in the amateurs. JT has fought much better and superior compe***ion and Pavlik's resume is padded which most can see and is obvious. He should get a rude awakening come Sept

Comment: Joe,
It doesn't matter whether JT won by a KO victory, a decision, etc. At the end of the night he took care of business against "proven", "prized" and "named" opponents, a feat Pavlik didn't do instead under the watchful eye of Lowe he padded a record to get this shot. I would be extremely surprised if you will be speaking this same tune come Sept. 29th. You have gotten to the point of trying to "take" wins away from JT?! Come on bro, let's get real. This "ride" is gonna be

Comment: Joe-Your assertions are almost to the point of being hysterical yet sad at the same time. A WIN is a WIN, regardless of how he did it. Give JT the resume of "C-List" average/below average fighters that Pavlik fought and he would have done the same thing. JT has fought and proven himself against the "best", Pavlik has done this against who? That is right. You are either dense, naive, or uneducated in boxing to buy this garbage.
