Comment: by the way dad was on the tv screen almost the whole fight he sure was bobbing and weaving...tv people interviewed him when he got to little rock and he said you won...he and mom are very proud of you. i dont know anyone who isnt proud of you...you put that effort into whatever you do from now on...not only will everyone else be proud of you..but you will find a way to be proud of yourself..that is what you deserve

Comment: Jermain, I'm as big a fan of you as a person as I am a fan of you as a boxer. Boxing needs more individuals like you. You are always gracious in both victory and defeat, and your comments & actions before and after fights always shows it. You are a great example that other boxers should emulate. Thanks for being not only an entertaining professional athlete, but also a great individual. I'm a Jermain Taylor fan, win or lose.

Comment: I 've always thought you were a good fighter but never was really "a fan " until Saturday night. I thought the fight was very close - Pavlik is awesome too - but I truly thought you edged him.
I got my Dad, a longtime boxing fan who has not watched many fights the past 10 or so years, to watch the fight with me. He was extremely impressed...said he didn 't know there were still guys like you and Pavlik out there. You and Kelly won my Dad back over...

Comment: hey young man i am more proud of you now than i ever was..that was the best fight i have ever seen...there were no losers in that fight...it was two winners giving all they have...what more can anyone do..as i see it there were to champions in that fight...champions of character

congratulations on the great fight and smart fight. it was a lot closer than two of the score cards had it. i think in many people 's minds you won it, and it could easily have been a draw. you came back from the loss and proved your skills. in fact, you put on such a great show that my roommates who were never boxing fans are much more so now. you can be sure that we 'll be watching you in the super-middle weight division.

Comment: I hate to say this, but You WON that fight. Everyone I watched the fight with felt the same way. The crowd even knew it, even Kelly's corner knew they were losing leading into the 10th. He won big in the last two, but not enough to make up the fight.
You BLOCKED most of his shots! And landed the crisper counter punches. Your jab also stopped him in his tracks every time.
A newly converted Jermain fan. Please beat Roy Jones, then Calzaghe, then fight Pavlik for III.

Comment: I am a huge Kelly Pavlik fan, however, I had to say to truly are a champ! Great fight, I am sorry there couldn't be 2 winners as you were deserving as well. I really wish that there were 20 more Jermain Taylor's in boxing, the sport would be so much better. Although I might be a Pavlik fan, you have turned me into a Jermain Taylor fan as well, continue to do what you are doing and you have nothing to be ashamed of or disappointed about. It is refreshing to see someone like you box!
