I have not a single thing against Lowe nor Pavlik, the facts are thre. If you take the blinders off long enough to look at the facts aside from opinions which you likely can't do then you may educate yourself instead of coming across as a young, naive, and uneducated poster. As much as you would like to think this was "all" Top Rank that is not factual, Lowe was extremely instrumental and has had much influence over the years when it came to fights, opponents, and advising

Comment: Yes, I'm going! Road tripping from Memphis.... the last few Taylor fights haven't been tailored for excitement. I really believe this will be Taylor's most exciting fight to date, because Pavlik will push the issue.

That is a possibility that has been taken into account on this end, however since they were "free" and "comped" it could pose a potential problem if they were to be sold hence the reason donating them came to mind since surely a few from the local area would like to see a local fighter attempting to bring a "world championship" to Youngstown.

Comment: Joe, you really buy into the HBO conspiracy theory? JT has had some close fights in which he won all the decisions... but none of those fights were "bad" decisions.
As for the rematch clause, of course they put it in there because there is a CHANCE Taylor doesn't win. Even a 95% chance of victory allows for losing 1/20. So sure that's why they included it, but that doesn't suggest a lack of confidence in their fighter.

But seriously, Kelly has been with Top Rank his entire career. Top Rank has a matchmaker. Loew has absolutely nothing to do with picking his opponents. Maybe you should go back to the "Kelly's a drunk and took my chick" posts.

I have spent time with JT out west and I can assure you that he isn't taking these verbal jabs, assaults, etc, personally. The only people who are "doubting his credibility" are those who can't stomach to see what he has accomplished. You can't take anything away from him and he knows it more than you or anyone else who "questions" his ring skills. Pavlik is going to be all heart and "rockyesqe", JT will be all skills and his ring experience should indeed show.

The "clause" is simply a business decision that was made, not abnormal or against the grain at all. If you look back in recent history this is not overly unusual. I have tickets that were given to me by a promoter which I will likely donate to Akron Children's Hospital or some other charitable cause, no desire present day to attend. Jet-A is too expensive to be jet setting on a Lear or Citation on such a short flight! You see more down low anyways versus at FL360
