Comment: I agree with JM 100 %, Lets talk about the upcoming fight. UFC is fun to watch but the fights end way to fast. With that said, I have a lot of respect for those guys. I heard JT looks great in training up in the Poconos. JM are u hearing the same thing??

Comment: SJ,
I agree, the anticipation isn't there nor will it ever be. You have very few named, well known, prize fighters, and recognizable names in that sport. Boxing has it beat by a mile and the cash registers back this up event after event. Any top notch PPV card in any division will top MMA/UFC no matter how hard they promote, etc. The market is limited, boxing has been around too too long.

Comment: Same,
Much respect is given to boxers, the sport, and what they do. Anyone knows that rolling, being on the ground, tap outs, etc, does not make a fighter a real fighter. JT nor any other boxer present day in his prime would ever consider a jump over, ain 't no money there! Not even remotely close to what they are used to getting compensated per bout. You are years away, many and at that the purses still won 't be in line with boxing. Now which sport has a bigger audience and followi

Comment: C,
You must be living in a fantasy world of such. UFC/MMA does not "outsell" the major boxing events nor does it come close. Your sport has a smaller following, less main attractions, and not even on the same level. If you think otherwise then just check the cash register. When was the last time a UFC fighter was given $15-20 million for a single fight? How about $25 million? That is what I thought. No comparison between the two. You can talk the talk all you wish, facts show otherw

Comment: I think these guys are good at what they do. It's just not a real representation of fighting skill. Fish out of water on the ground. I don't box. I do howeve compete in MMA events and hold a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I'm more than confident that I could easily tap out your pal JT. Not a boast. Just as 2 atheletes working out to prove a point. It really diminishes respect for boxers when kids watch Real fighters roll.

Comment: UFC fights consistantly outsell major boxing evants on PPV. Apples and oranges indeed on the baseball ***ogy. Minor league players are the less talented. Top MMA fighters would easily outskill any pure boxer in a NHB contest. And thats why American youth loves it. Boxing not a step up.

Comment: Taylor vs. Mayweather? Wouldn't surprise me, considering how small Taylor likes his opponents to be. But he'll be running away to 168 after Pavlik blasts him away, which will be too heavy for PBF.

Comment: Bob,
Mayweather and Taylor are both proven champions, the PPV sales would indeed be through the roof, live gate sales, etc. I recieved two emails this morning that talks are already underway for a fight at a weight both can agree upon. As it was stated way too much $$ would be at stake and they both are smart enough to realize this at this point in there respective careers. Both would shine, make bank, and the public actually would want to see this fight transpire and materialize. I spoke
