They get the arrogance out of sheer ignorance and being naive to the sport in general. They will stop at nothing to fulfill a distorted and flawed propaganda agenda. Pavlik is going to get his punch drunk clock cleaned, he is a nobody that has fought nobody hence the reason he get's no respect. JT has been in the ring with HOF fighters which the fans of this skinhead can't stomach to see.

This sport is a lot more than being able to punch hard. Everybody will be hard pressed to criticize JT after he puts up a great performance on Sept 29th!

Comment: After fighting a bunch of nobody's pavlik is just happy to be in the ring with a real fighter for a change..he's gonna loose he knows it, but this is the chance of a lifetime for him. Pavlik deserves this shot because he's beatin who ??? Miranda ??!! You pavlik fans are a joke, he's barely espn material and way out of his leauge. This fight shouldn't even happen.

I can assure you that Manny will start to tear apart and break into Pavlik after three as he likely will have a cautious approach and game plan before he allows his fighter to rain the fireworks, similar to what he had Wlad do against Brewster when he called it right on. I would be surprised if it went beyond 6/7 and if it does then JT may have a fight on his hands but as I see it he will indeed listen this time around and heed the commands from Manny who is a HOF trainer for a reaso

Comment: His people, fans, supporters, etc, are basing this not only off of the hype, emotion, but also the dislike of JT and his detractors. Many would "like" to see the underdog win and tend to cheer that person on like in any sport. The odds makers and lines will vary from this point until the fight, this was as expected and not abnormal. Most have JT favored across the board. Some by a smaller margin others by a larger one. I don't think it will go to the cards.

If he beats Pavlik he still will not get the respect he deserves since he is "expected " to step it up with a legitimate middleweight, win, and win in impressive fashion after taking two fights his own camp was deadset against him fighting, mainly Manny. Spinks refused to do battle and coming up as a jr middleweight he isn 't going to make any middleweight look good since you can 't cut the ring off. Different ball game here, both will be ready to slug it out come the 29th.
