Statistics, previous fights, quality of opposition (a KEY) are facts. It's styles that make fights. It's training, cornermen, desire, at***ude and a hundred other variables that make "great fights" just that. Comment: As one last side note, I can assure you that Jermain will indeed be listening to Manny. Who would a fighter rather have a HOF trainer (and trainer of champions) in his corner or a small town trainer from Southside Boxing Gym? A no-brainer and "experience" and "wisdom" can't be bought, only obtained through many years in this sport, all of which Manny has which is a fact. What other champs has Jack trained? Comment: Sometimes the facts are hard to stomach especially when you have and had no respect for Jermain Taylor and it irks you to know who has the belts present day. Two "lackluster" bouts don't define a career. One bout against a named fighter (and only one) in Miranda who never showed do define a career in Pavlik? Like it or not the facts do not lie no matter how much propaganda is attempted to be sold off as fact. Taylor IS champion, has done everything to date, his detractors cannot take anything away from him due to two lackluster fights that his camp was against from the onset, mainly Manny. He has fought HOF fighters, something Pavlik can't claim to have done, and JT has won the bouts. A career IS much more than the last two bouts. You that naive? Look at the facts.

I am not in disagreement with you, Pavlik is difficult to knockout and honestly those who fought him (hand picked) didn't have a shot other than Miranda who didn't even show. This complete BS about JT's last "two" fights were against fighters who moved up in weight who quite frankly ran from Taylor from the opening bell, what should he have done differently?
