Comment: I look at this fight as another HOLMES vs COONEY not including the race factor but as how people are saying that how Pavlik is going KO Taylor b/c of his power and that taylor dosent has what it takes to beat Pavlik. People said the same thing about Holmes and what did he do KO the power punching Cooney, which the same is going to happen in this fight by 10rd KO or a hard fought UD for taylor.

Comment: Interpreting Emanual Stewards remarks, one would believe that he thinks JT is a quality fighter.
Jt does have some quality, but we will find out how much on the 29th. Again, I dont think he has enough

Comment: JM, I agree with the quality of opposition for Pavlik. With this in mind, you think he would atleast be +140 on the money line. I can't figure it out. One place has KP at -120 and Jermain at -111. Someone else must think KP is going to win too,

Comment: Timbit,
The fact of the matter is Pavlik has beaten no one other than as you said it best a "weight drained" Miranda who didn't even show to fight that night. He has fought no one a long the lines of whom Taylor has beaten. These people are trying to place the "race card" which won't win them the fight. He can have all the white people in the world backing him, he is no champion, never been and the pedigree will never be there. Facts don't lie, these people are in right field and

Comment: Not to add insult to injury BUT JT likely could have had a PPV fight in Memphis if this fight wasn't going to happen and the live gate sales, PPV sales, etc, would have been high. The fact of the matter is no matter his detractors play him off he has a huge draw close to home and around the country. Pavlik is the reason why this isn't PPV. Last time Mayweather, DLH did a free fight?!

Comment: Yes, I do not think St. Tressel will be able to duplicate the success he had with YSU with the Luckeyes, one team I could never stomach to watch. Actually made the mistake of going to the "LuckShoe" in C-bus for two home games last year which won't happen again! I got great satisfaction in there loss to Florida last year even though I lost a few friends but was worth it!

Comment: He is going up against a brick wall and for the "draw" and "recognition" to be there post Sept. 29th he is going to have to impress and win in stunning fashion, something I do not think he is going to do nor is he capable of. Visit the Borgata, great steakhouse the Old Homestead there which is one of the best. Mur Mur should be kicking post fight, may even fly in if I decide to fly back from LA on Tues.
