Comment: Jermain,
You gave it your all and I thank S.M for the two $300.00 comped floor seats even though the desired result did not happen. You DID have him in the second round, if only you finished him off. Much respect as you were a great champion. Excercise the clause for the fight at a catchweight of 168. You carried the belts well.

Comment: Manny has not been the best for you. When you took him on as your new trainer, that is when everyone questioned your skills.
Until then, you were a rising star. Just want you to know that you are still LOVED in Arkansas, win or lose ! In the rematch, please don't go for the OVER 160 lbs. Rematch to get your well earned ***le back .

Comment: Tough to watch two fighters you like fight each other - but I found myself yelling at you to settle down, focus, etc. I realized I was pulling for you to win it.
You're a tremendous fighter and person, Jermain. You'll get it back, this loss is nothing more than an instrument, or a tool for you to use to get yourself to the next level. The packaging is a little difficult to take as it's in a loss, but maybe that's best right now.
Use it.

Comment: 1 Loss, BFD !!! You are still "DA Man" ! It wasn't so much what Kelly did as to what you did that lost this fight. In MHO, this fight was over in the 2nd round. You just got too excited and missed with too many punches to finish it ! Better luck next time. You'll be back on top !!!

Comment: We are proud of you Jermain! Stay confident and know that no man is perfect. We all must lose at some point. You can and will rebound from this experience as a wiser man and fighter! You are MORE THAN TOUGH ENOUGH to win the rematch. Break him down with your jab, test his chin again, and evade his heavy hands. There's no shame in boxing and not slugging with a KO artist. Fight your fight and you WILL win by KO or decision! Keep your head up! We've still got your back. Ain't nothin changed!!!
