Comment: Hey Bobby, I agree that Hopkins beat JT both times, but who was the last guy you saw that gave Hopkins such a close fight? Hopkins is a master technician in the ring, but JT held his own pretty well. What JT needs is a trainer that can give him the defense skills to go along with his long jab and strong right hand. He already has the stamina and conditioning.

Comment: JT put on a hell of a show. I think JT has the potential to be a champ at super middle, light heavy and maybe even heavyweight. I think JT needs a better trainer like Mayweather Sr. Someone that can teach him some solid defense. His offense is very solid, as we've seen in his fights with Pavlik and Winky. With better defense he'd be a serious threat in his division.

Comment: I see now that some people on here have been jealous of Jermaine over all these years, the man is a true champ, and he will come back and knockout Pavlik, Pavlik trains hard, and he has a good trainer, he is for real, and he is being guided by the best, but, really lets face it, Pavlik career was almost over in the 2nd round, he went down, and yes he got back up with power, but Jermaine will nock him down again and finish him off.

Comment: I think Pavlik fans need to get him a website, so they can stop loving Jermaine secretly on here, that is why they keep on coming on this site, they are still unsure of Pavlik Talent, that is why hey want to make sure the rematch does not happen. SOUNDS LIKE INSECURE MEN TO ME.

Comment: Taylor, knowing Pavlik was in trouble, said he threw a ton of punches trying to get him out. He just didn’t throw the correct kind of punch — an uppercut — as Steward had instructed him.
“In the second round, I threw a lot of unnecessary punches,” Taylor said. “I should have come with the uppercut. I thought I had him down, but I’ll give it to Kelly. He got up and came back strong. I was very surprised he came back up.”
