Comment: The Builder is one great trip. BNSF keeps some of the varnish on that timetable and Amtrak don't spare the horses. And a sleeper can't be beat for civilised travel. Did the run in Feb. 2003 Cold, snowy and smooth

Comment: Liked your Empire Builder photos. That you lost half your shots is very annoying. In 1998, I used Kodak film mailers on a railfan trip to Arizona. One roll out of 10 got lost by the processor, which really upset me. I have always wanted to go on the Empire Builder. I did the Coast Starlight in 1997, LA to Seattle. Till later

Your trip report is good reading and the site in general shows promise. Keep it coming; us train nuts get a little obsessed sometimes. My obsession, as if you couldn't guess, is with Amtrak units containing the number 207. While the (my) engine has been assigned to the Empire Builder quite often, you did not get her. You DID get sleeper 32071 though.
I've never been in a sleeping car, so I don't know if you can count yourself as lucky or not, but you do have a web page, w
