Comment: I visited Winfield many times, mostly over thirty years ago. If the town is as great as this web site, I need to return for a visit. This type of documentation is what helps keep our country strong!

Comment: I am working on a story regarding St. Lawrence Island at the time that the Gambells were there. I really appreciated the letters that are on your web site. They give a good look into the time period. Thank you Marilyn. If you need a picture of Vene and Nellie I have one. Thanks again, Jeanne

Comment: What an excellent website. It is inspiring to see
the enthusiasm and care with which Winfield's
past is being preserved. As I visited the site
today from Munich, Germany, one can truly say that
the society's reach has become global. Great
work, Ms. Rawson and all!

Comment: I live in Los Angeles, CA, and am thrilled to be able to keep tabs on Winfield with the click of a mouse! My grandparents, Herb & Verca Butler, lived in Winfield many years (at one time owned the Wel-Come Inn), and I have very fond memories of a lifetime of summers spent visiting. I'm proud to say my sister, Judy Rawson, is the founder of the Historical Society, and continues to dedicate many hours toward this wonderful testiment to the town's history. Congratulations on a fantastic web site!

Comment: Thank you for visiting our site. We'd like you to know it will be "on-growing" and request if you have any vintage photos or papers that can be scanned and added to our history, they would be greatly appreciated. These items would be returned in a timely manner in the condition in which they were received. Again, thank you for visiting and do come back now and then to see what we've been up to and what we have scheduled.

Judith Robinette, Webmaster
