Comment: Please Note: The "Belle" of the Bar is now at point to dexter chief. A litle black coffee (and a flip of the negative) was all it took. Thank you Andy!

Comment: Proud to wear the Hell's Belles Insignia and to have served in the 316th FS from August to December, 1944. A lot of faces and names come to mind. Those I served with in France and those I have met at Squadron Reunions. And not a bad memory in the bunch.
And thank you Suzi.

Comment: Looks as though our Helles Belle is running in
the wrong direction. Maybe too many adult drinks.
A great addition to the web site.

Comment: Hi. I'm the son (oldest of 2) of Samuel Kroll, one of the ground crew in the 316th.
Just thought I'd sign in and help keep the spirit of the 316th alive through the generations.

Comment: The bar at the inferno looks a lot like the one the officers had. I had heard but not seen that there was an aircraft factory (defunkt) in town where materials were found. The vino was expensive - 15 cents I think.

Comment: Helles Belles have taken the lead again. Actually, some of my best friends, and the best guys in the world, are 316th. We in the 315th have to fall back on our good looks and wonderful personalities.
