Comment: I've enjoying browsing throught it as my grandfather and uncle were Alfred and Arthur Stanier of the bus company. My father (and mother and I) and his brother (Jack) and sister (Doreen) lived in 3 houses near Lowes Corner. Doreen ran Lowe's Shop in the 1950s/60s.

Comment: I am compiling my family tree, my Grandfather was married in St James Church in 1902 to Harriet Ann Beech, her father James Beech mother Catherine S Beech (nee Williams) sisters Mary and Pricilla,brother Thomas, Fred and Edgar, I remember my Dad mentioning his Uncle Edgar, there was also an Elsie Beech whom I remember when I was a toddler.Used to visit with my mother relations in a street where the school is in Packmoor off Bull Lane Any Beech's about who may be relatives with photoS.

Comment: My WAKEFIELD family lived at Brieryhurst Farm Mow Cop from circa 1790- circa 1820. My 2g grandad Benjamin was born there but went to Birmingham around 1820. Have been trying to find records of other branches of the family in N Staffs area but so far unsuccessfully.
