Comment: The walk on Sunday 24 Jan will take place as planned. The snow has gone but the River Ouse is in flood. No problems for the 11 Km but I have had to make a diversion route for the 21Km, which is reduced to 18Km. If the water goes down by Saturday I will still give you the 21 Km. The trails are virtually all hard surface, but there is a fair bit of standing water and one small section of the long route is bridleway, so bring your boots.

Comment: Happy New Year to you all. Thanks to all those who made it to the walk in MK in December. I look froward to seeing you all in Bedford on 24 January, weather permitting. At the moment the snow is melting rapidly, but I am keping my fingers crossed that this will not cause a problem with high water along the River Ouse. Please look in this web site guest book at the end of next week 18 - 21 January for confirmation that there will be no problems.

Just to say thanks to Derek for providing an excellent walk, from Great Linford NO MUD!!
The Nags head also produced an excellent Sunday Lunch, washed down with a couple of pints of Black Sheep.
A good time was had by all.

Guess what... We have found a pub / jazz club in Tokyo called ..... The Vagabond! Needless to say, we all wore our Vaggie shirts when we visited.
Excellent food, beer and entertainment.
No doubt they will be linking..
Hal way through the trip. Weather superb (shirtsleeves) and everyone enjoying it.
