Comment: In 1881, my great-grandfather, Daniel Bowyer, was the proprietor of the Trout Inn. Thanks for retaining the family aspect of the old place.

Comment: My granson Marcus and I capsised our canoe on our way down the Thames from Cricklade - very wet, very cold with no dry clothes. Penny & Annnie made us most welcome, helping by drying our wet clothes, made us welcome in the dining room (complete with seat covers to keep the chairs dry). The food was delicious. They lent Marcus a pair of chefs trousers as we made our way to our tent for the night with a borrowed plump warm duvet for a comfortable night. Lovely people - thanks pen, thanks Annie :-)

Comment: A BIG 'Thank You' for a giving us a fantastic wedding reception. The food was very tasty indeed. The staff provided to us for the day were extremely helpful and brilliant with the children. It exceeded all of our expectations.
A note for others - if you are looking for a venue, look no further than The Trout Inn, they are very professional, helpful and such lovely people.
Best wishes for the future and special thanks to Penny for having such excellent organisational skills!
