Comment: Just wanted to check this out to see if or what the connection would be to my line???? I'm still kinda new to this stuff and I find it pretty confusing with the spelling changes of the names. Some make sence and others just don't.

Do you have anything on Merle E.Shick b.ca 1901 in Pa, with wife May (maiden name unknown)b.ca 1902.Children Margaret,b.ca 1921,Billy,b.ca 1928,and Jay C.b.11 Nov 1932,d.12 dec 2006.
Found him on the 1930 Census for Redbank Twp.,Armstrong Co.,Pa and Jay C.Shick's obituary.Trying to connect him to the family tree.Do you have his parents names?

Comment: I 'm a decendant of Isaac Daniel Sheek. He moved to Johnson County IN after the Civil War. From what I undrstand there where some of his brothers living in IN before the war. Dr. Daniel Walter Sheek was his son. He was a graduate of IU and scored the 1st touchdown for the school. That was before the forward pass.He served the county as "the ole country doctor " for many years.

Comment: Thanks for so much help. Some differences are: Charles "Charlie " Franklin Sheek, born in 1865,died in 1926. and was married to Martha (Mattie) Furchess. Children are:
Fannie Lewes Sheek, Patsy(not Patricia), Baily Boyd, Frank Aiken, and Bernice McCoy. No JAMES. I knew them all except Charlie, and baby Baily Boyd. Fannie lived to be 103. Patsy was my grandmother and Mattie my greatgrandmother.
