Comment: I was on Oahua Feb. 2007. Thanks to my girfriend being a member of the USAF I was able to visit the memorial and see Ford Island. I was deeply moved. Keep up the great work on the site. God bless America and her troops.

Comment: my wife and I had the pleasure to visit the USS Arizona and USS Missouri in Aug. of 2005 but we were told that the USS Utah was not open to the public that the last time the public could see it was 2001 on the 60th anniversary.Sure wish I could have seen it.

Ever since I attended the National WWII Memorial dedication in 2004, and met so many WWII veterans, I have been collecting stories from WWII veterans. Comment: A very sad but fitting memorial, shame it is not as well known as the Arizona, I would like to visit them both one day. HMS Royal Oak is a similar memorial. Excellent website
