Comment: My father, Don Jones, was one of your ship mates. Just logged on to get some info for a speech I will give about the Utah to a group of school children at the memorial on Thursday. Hello to everyone.

Comment: My Dad's friend and neighbor Glen White, F1c, was lost on the Utah 12-7-41. He was from Portland, Oregon. Don't know anymore about him than that. But I am glad to see this site dedicated to the "forgotten" ship and her crew. Thank you.

Comment: I'm fifteen and I've known the story now for five years. And though the Arizona is such a beautiful memorial, and a tragic story as well, the Utah has always stood out in my mind. Someone I know now calls it the "Forgotten Ship" of WWII, as no one really remembers the Utah, just the Arizona. I visited Pearl Harbor two years ago and was dying to see the Utah but because of 9/11, we were not allowed to travel across Ford Island to see the ship. Thank you for reminding the world.

Comment: I was not born but after reading everything about I shell some tears because if put you in the place of being their and what happen to the united states then and on 9/11 make us as one feel a little bit nerves about letting them in our courty.

Comment: We are an Army family with deep respect for the sacrifices of those who serve. We were very taken with the Utah memorial and visit it often. We often take our visiting family there, or just visit on our own every few weeks. It's good to know those sailors have not been forgotten. Great website for a key piece of history. Glad we discovered it at last.

Comment: Thank you for a very interesting web site and for the sacrifices for all the brave souls who gave their lives so we could all be free.
