Comment: i am glad that someone was able to put something to gether for USS Utah. she was a very elegant ship that did not live out her full life as a United States battleship. but she was able to live out her life as an important piece in the american defense structure for her time. i wish there were more visitors to go and see her she is a monument to the men who died at pearl harbor as much as USS Arizona. thanks for the site. i hope to be able to come and see it grow.

Comment: Today, 10/20/2004, I discovered my grandfather (Valentin Eucare) served on the U.S.S. Utah from June 30, 1919 until March 10, 1923. I would like anyone with photo's of crew members during this era to contact me. My grandfather was a MAT3C, 2C and 1C, and was probably a stewart because he was from the Philipines. He also served on the Nevada in 1923 and the Vestal from 1925 to 1926. It's nice to see a website dedicated to memories so long ago. Keep up the great work.

I stumbled on this site after being reconnected with a long lost friend just days ago and found out about the passing of his father on 8 Feb.04,Thomas C. Molay, who servived the attack on this ship that dreadful day. 7 DECEMBER 1941,MAY WE NEVER FORGET!

Comment: My Dad (Ted Roosevelt) was on the Utah as a 17 year old seaman 2/c when it was sunk. He is proud of his service and it was our privilege to host him and Mom during the 60th anniversary services in December of 2001. He is still spry and planning to come up to Boise and go duck hunting with me and his grandson.

Comment: I have been to Pearl Harbor and have seen what is left of the USS Utah. It should be a reminder to all of us, to make sure soemthing like this never happens again and the United States always stands for what is right and for freedom.
