Comment: My great uncle, Ralph A Johnson, was one of the survivors of the Dec. 7th attach. He is gone now but, I still enjoy looking through the navy memorabilia and thinking about the stories. What a brave and honorable crew the U.S.S Utah had.

Comment: On March 12, 2005, we visited USS Utah memorial while visiting Pearl harbor. It is not busy and quiet and gave us time to think how it must have been the morning of Dec 7 when the Japanese attacked and sunk it. John is a retired Army Veteran and our frind who lives in Honolulu showed us this memorial which had more meaning than the more visited memorials at Pearl Harbor. Our prayers to the sailors and their families of the USS Utah.

Comment: We visited the Utah memorial yesterday. It was very nice. I liked this memorial better than others, because it is quiet and not overcrowded. It is a good place to remember our fallen heroes.

Comment: I saw "Battleship Row" in Pearl Harbor on Dec.19, 2004 while on vacation.
To all those sailors, marines, airman, soliders, and civilians who gave their lives to protect the freedom we cherish...Thank You.
Your right, more people tend to remember the Arizona than the Utah, and that is sad because many sailors gave their lives aboard the Utah as well. I am a huge Naval History Buff, and have several binders of information from the internet reguarding the many vessels that have served the US.

Comment: My father, Terrel Robert Eddy, served on the Utah from 1938 until Dec. 4, 1941. He had been transferred and was halfway to San Francisco on the 7th of Dec. I was aboard the Utah as a child while it was in drydock in Long Beach, Ca. 1940, 1941? My dad made two lamps from practice bombs used on the Utah.
