Comment: i went to see the uss arizona last week on holiday in hawaii. I was touched to hear about the pearl harbor attacks and thought about the lives lost that day of infamy. What a honourable way to die, in a ship, fighting for your own country. God bless the men that were lost.

Comment: I am a WWII history buff and became interested in the attack on Pearl Harbor after watching the movie. After doing research on the internet,I feel saddened for the people that lost thier lives that sunday morning. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families that had members and friends there on that horrible day.Somehow I can't seem to shake the idea that the attack on Pearl Harbor seems familiar to me.I guess it has just affected me.God Bless Pearl Harbor And the lives that were lost that day

Comment: I was pleased to be able to see how many people gave eye witness accounts on this website and to learn about the role my great grandfather, Lt. Cmdr. Charles Otto Michael played in this tragedy as he sacrificed his own life to save others on the USS Utah. If anyone has any further information on him, esp his last moments on the ship I would be happy to hear from them. Thank you.

Comment: Having lost my father when i was 6 yrs old, (he served and went down on the R.N. ship H.M.S. Glorious off the coast of Norway, maybe i can feel a little bit more in my heart for all the men that went down with the USS Utah. God grant them eternal rest and peace and I say a big thank you for all the men and women who gave up their today for our tomorrow. R.I.P.
