Comment: I have visited both memorials and can almost feel the moment as it must have been like on that December morning. As awesome experience even for someone who wasn't born until several years after the event. Moving yet sobering.

Comment: I continue to be moved by the actions of the Greatest Generation. One of the brave souls that served aboard the Utah and gave his life to save the lives of his crewmembers in the boiler room of the Utah was Peter Tomich. God Bless Chief Watertender Peter Tomich and all those brave souls still at Pearl and all those who have served to protect the United States of America.

Comment: As a 5 year old, I witnessed the bombing of Pearl Harbor from a short distance & now live in Utah. My Japanese-American parents said then, "Japan's stupid to attack America. They can't win!" Our visit to Pearl Harbor was a highlight: it is a reverent and hallowed place. God bless America.

Comment: I have visited the Arizona two times, but was unaware that the USS Utah could be visited. My next visit to Hawaii I will make it a point.

Comment: It was an honor to break the story of baby Nancy Lynne Wagner on Pearl Harbor Day 2003, and I often think of her, Utah, and Nancy Kreigh. God bless all, and Have a Fine Navy Day...

Comment: As a FTG1 I served on board the USS Gurke DD783 and the USS Bausel DD845 in the mid 70's while stationed in Japan. I finally got to visit Hawaii last year and while I knew of the USS Utah I couldn't get to it. Someday I'll get back and get the chance to see another great ship's memorial. Keep up the great work.

Comment: My grandfather served during 1921-22. I have his pictorial log and "Chronicle of the European Cruise of the U.S.S. Utah "
Where can I get info on the ship during this time? Records, etc.?
