Comment: my wife and me have visited the arizona mem and the uss missouri, the next time we visit oahu we will go over to pearl and pay our sespects, to the uss utah.

Comment: I REMEMBER THE UTAH AS I SERVED ON THE USS KEARSGARGE CVA33 DURING THE LATE 50TIES & WHEN WE VISITED PEARL HARBOR WE WOULD TIE UP RIGHT NEXT TO THE UTAH.WE VISITED HAWAII IN 2000 & WENT TO THE UTAH MEMORIAL.

Comment: On Oct 10,2006 at 1000, I laid the cremated ashes of my father (Pearl Harbor Survivor) and mother to eternal rest from the USS Utah Memorial. The Navy and Sons and Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors Assn. jointly perform this service. What a great place to put them to rest. Thank-you. ATC Michael Coleman USNR-TAR (ret)

Comment: The bell from the USS Utah is mounted in front of the Naval Sciences Building on the campus of the University of Utah. We recently used a photo of a portion of the bell for our "Mystery Photo Contest" in our faculty/staff newsletter. One of our staff suggested checking this site. Thank you for providing it.

Comment: I recently returned from a vacation visit to Oahu. I enjoyed my opportunity to visit the UTAH and NEVADA monuments, as it provided me with a bit of "historic closure". When obtaining a base pass for my rental car, I was shocked when the pass PO was unaware of both monuments existance. I had last been to Pearl while on Reserve duty in 1987. With no bridge to Ford Island at the time, chances to see the UTAH were nonexistant. I made it a point to do this trip. AW1 Carl Mottern USNR RETIRED
