Comment: My father, Hans Karl Kittel served on the Utah around 1937 forward. Just prior to December 7th he transferred off to the USS Helm.

Comment: My Pop Pop was aboard the UTAH around 1924. Found his name on the 1924 Roster on this website (Thank You!) My dad served in the navy in Korean War times on Destroyer Harwood. My dad has pop's papers from when UTAH passed through Panama C*** I will submit them for this page for everyone to see.

Comment: If a tour driver had not shared the wonderful, beautiful story of the USS Utah and baby Nancy, I would have remained ignorant of the history of yet another tragedy of that Dec. 7th. I visited Pearl Harbor and now look forward to sharing the story with my friends and students! Thank you also for this site.

Comment: I find it very strange to this day, why the USS Utah still remains anonymous? They shared a common fate on De 7th , 58 men still lay within her hull. Not only that, their namesakes states share a common boarder too . Arizona and Utah it was destiny! Remember Pearl Harbor
