Comment: i have been to china many times,My firsttime was in 1946 and the last time was in 1983,and many times in between.in 1946 was in shanghai,in whuch i had a grand time ever though they were sill building it back up. the same year i went o hong kong and canton.1983 back again to shanghai my favorite city. i enjoyed ur pic and notice afw changes since i been back.but they brought back old memories.russ

Comment: Will visit Shanghai in Sept. of 2001. Won't have much time. Your suggestions for things to see and do will come in handy. Acquaintances told us of "Venice" of China. Do you know if this is the river town you visited? How did you travel the 2 hours from Shanghai? Thanks
