Comment: Constantia Maria BURGOYNE, of St Martins-in-the-Fields, London, & John PIGOTT, of St Martin Orgars, London, Captain of a West Indian Merchant [Ship], were married 20 Jan 1729-30, in the house of Justice WEBSTER, Castle St, above ye Mews, parish of St Martin-in-the-Fields.
This marriage was recorded in one of the "Fleet Registers."
John PIGOTT, nephew of Judith BURGOYNE (wife of Robert PIGOTT of Dysart), was my ancestor, but not Constantia BURGOYNE.
I can provide more detail.

Comment: Delighted to discover your site. My Mother 's maiden name was Cookes. Daughter of John and Alice Cookes of Pickford Grange, Allesley. Her brothers were George Harry and Burt. Burt died young from tetanus. However I believe George Cookes family are in contact with you. If not please contact me I would be delighted to fill in a few details. The family grows!

Comment: Closely connected to Captain John PIGOTT, husband of Constantia Maria BURGOYNE, and raised in his childhood by his uncle Robert PIGOTT at Dysart, Queen 's Co, and his wife Judith BURGOYNE.
Judith is buried at Dysart; Constance died in 1739.
