Comment: Heard you have a new book out about the Tigres del Norte and other happenings in Guadalajara. What's it called and where can I get a copy. Is that the Mexican Mornings book?Regards, Jaime

Comment: Your homepage is impressive and instructive for me. I'll be ordering "Imperfect Geographies," to get started, from Amazon. I'm sending a long-delayed email too. My copy of "Sound and Sense," from which I've taught much, is too old, I fear.

Comment: Enjoyed the reviews and notes on the Irish Soldiers of Mexico. Your book is an important contribution, especially the inclsion of Mexican sources. Don't know who that fool is that's using your site for free advertising for her job search bujsiness. I wouldn't trust her with my resume.

Comment: Heard that Noam Chomsky was presented with a copy of your book, Irish Soldiers, by Marco Aurelio Larios at the U de G conference. Chomsky read it on the plane back to Boston and was blown away. Said he would be writing to you.

Comment: It's really neat how you included the Hunger Site along with your books. I wish more authors would do things like that. I also saw that site made it to the top list of cybertech sites of quality in Time magazine. I know it really works. Thanks for help feeding hungry minds and bellies!

Comment: Excellent books. I especially enjoyed reading your Irish Soldiers--if enjoyed is the word. It was shocking and thought-provoking. But it is important that we analyze those events to determine who we are as a people and how have evolved. Your analysis of the character of Americans in the 1840s provides useful insights into how far we've come as a people and how far we have yet to go.
