Comment: One must inform itself before saying things. Israel didn't banished arabs of their land. In fact, the arab imigration to that land (Israel's land) enlarged after Israel's re-establishment: many arabs went to Israel atracted by economic growth. Adittionally Israel gave cityzenship to palestinian, something that neither Lebanon or Syria did.

Comment: I am a 16 year old Catholic who is researching inquisition in general. This page was very helpful, and I feel for the awful things that were done to the Jewish people, and I do think you deserve an apology from the Pope. I do not, however agree that Catholics as a whole have sinned. Catholics today do not hold up the values that were once steadfast-and we believe that the Jewish religion is part of our past, and you should practise your beliefs as an equal faith. Comment: I am a descendant of survivors of the Iberian Holocaust.
PLEASE NEVER FORGET that MANY MUSLIMS and also Protestants
were persecuted and sometimes murdered by the Catholic Church's Inquisition too.
