Comment: My father is original from Kesh, Co. Fermanagh Northern Ireland. His great uncle was from Ireland but emrigrated to America his name was William James Gallagher. He is dead now but his gandchildren live in New Jeresy. We have never maded any contact with them. My fathers name is Thomas Leo Gallagher, his fathers name was John Gallagher original from Donegal.

Comment: I'm searching for info on Thomas & James Gallagher of Philadelphia, formerly of Co. Donegal.
Thomas was a coachman in Ireland and had worked at a castle before coming to America. He married Isabel (Mary Elizabeth?) a widow with a daugher named Elizabeth. (Thomas later adopted her). Comment: Have Family Catholic Bible from 1844 (only date we can find although the sentence says "printed from the edition of 1844" which is odd ) has one page of family records starting with a Patrick Gallagher born 1827 - married to Julia Gallagher 14 July 1858 - 7 children -- 1 marriage of one of the girls shown on page - last recorded date 1899.
Has postcard place card dated 1908 with Harper Kansas address for Julia.

Comment: I am searching for info on my ggrandmother, Rose Virginia Gallagher who married James Scott from West Philadelphia in the mid-1800s. They had 5 children: Andrew, William, John Joseph, Catherine, and RoseAnita who died in infancy.
John Joseph Scott married Mary Itter (from Hazelton) in 1900.
