Comment: Your site has been very helpful to me.
I have tried a "netcomm InModem56 model "IN 5699".
It has the Agere 1034 codec + 1646T00 DSP and works
fine with ltmodem6.00B.
I like the idea of the DSP modem interface ,but not
the closed nature of the DSP software.

Comment: There are news drivers for the Olitec PCI56K V2 which use Conexant HSF chipset. This are binaries drivers designed for Mandrake 8 (kernel 2.4.3-20) and Red Hat 7.1 (kernel 2.4.2-2). I didn't test them.

Comment: Conexant says that that they will have drivers for Linux for the HSF, HCF and other modemtypes
available by the end of 2001/beg. of 2002!
