Comment: I think my Dad was on the USS Tuscaloosa during the War. I would like to find out for sure. He has long since died but I remember him talking (not much) about the ship when I would point to a tatoo he had of the Tuscaloosa.

Comment: Great job, Tom. Charles Bruce called my attention to this site; I had overlooked the note Linda Sheeran had put in the August Wich-Tusc Newsletter. I was in Main Battery Plot 43-46, was OOD for the decommissioning, and supervised mothballing the gunnery weapons and spaces in Philadelphia NSY. Charlie Rozier, CAPT (ret).

Comment: I have just learned of this site through the August issue of the Wichita-Tuscaloosa group. It is amazing the amount of obvious work and effort you have done to create such a complete and interesting site keeping the Tuscaloosa afloat! I served about four years (1942-46) first in gunnery and then in communications experiencing all the major activities during that time.Any additional material that you choose to add will be appreciated.
