Comment: Regarding KS4415, appeal launched 27th October 2001 by 4415 Group. Some of us may be FR members but the majority belong to the Greenwich & District Narrow Gauge Railway Society. Regardless, the aim is to restore KS4415 to working order with a target date of 2003. If funding is available sooner work will progress sooner. Comment: Having lived for many years in the Province of Natal the home of the Stuartstown Line (Umzinto-Donnybrook)and watched the decline of that wonderfully scenic and spectacular line ,it is extremely gratifying to see it being resurrected in another beautifully scenic area of N.Wales.I am following your progress by means of the local OS maps with great interest,and wish you all success in your magnificent endeavour.

Comment: Hooked since 1957 when I travelled on re-opened Festiniog. Interested in WHR since 1964 when viewing route through Beddgelert whilst on bike holiday as teenager. Unbelievable that the rebuild is actually taking place. Visit your site very often. Congrats on work.

Comment: I love checking in for the latest news and photos on what has to be the greatest railway restoration project in the world today. Several years ago I wrote an article for an American narrow gauge magazine on "Project LYD" and hope to ride her footplate some day.
