Comment: I found this very helpful in my school research on surrogate mothers. I have always since I was a little girl told myself and others that I would have a child for a couple who couldn't do it themselves. This is a very useful site.

Comment: I am a surrogate mother {1st timer host} I am due to give birth in 24 days. It has been a great experience. Not like the worry you have carrying your own. I know after the birth I will be able to walk with a spring in my step knowing I have helped a wonderful couple achive their dream of having a family of their own to love. I haven't had any negative feed back so far.

I still have my ovaries. My husband, Michael, & I are in need of a gestational surrogate. I am a high schoo

Comment: I was touched by your story. I know a couple who live across the US from me and have been trying to conceive for a long time with very painful results. They have decided to adopt. I knew a surrogate mother 16 years ago and admired and respected her decision to help a family in that way. I loved being pregnant and have 2 daughters of my own, and would love to give this couple the opportunity to have a child in which they created, and I incubated. I don't know how it will turn out, but I am g

Comment: thanks for sharing - I'm thinking about this for a friend. Do you think that would bring extra difficulties - to be a surrogate for someone you know really well?
