Comment: I used to live in Thirlemere Place in Knottingley in the 70,s. My elder sister is Andrea and my younger brother Alex, my parents Ian and Betty. All of us children went to Throstle farm first school. It,s a great site and brought back many fond memories. I,ll definitely be back....

Comment: What an EXCELLENT web site, kept me interested for several hours. Brought back a lot of memories of my youth spent in Knottla.I went to Englands Lane and KHS Schools. Comment: Our choir sang in Ropewalk Methodist Church,June 1999.What a wonderful loving,caring group! You could feel the presence of God! We sang at many large churches and Cathederals-but Ropewalk really stays in our memory. Our love and prayers are with all of you at Ropewalk and Knottingley!
